Michael McMinn brings years of experience in the construction industry and is responsible for managing job estimation, design feasibility, contracts, field operations, construction production, quality and job site safety. He brings extensive experience in commercial construction and started his career in residential home building.
With a focus on pre-construction processes he has been implementing best practices in estimation, job costing, design, procurement, and cost management. Michael has “done the job” which means he has field experience as well as leadership of projects and organizations.
His commercial experience nationally has been in Texas, Georgia, Illinois, Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, and Michigan. Projects include ground up and finish out of commercial projects in multi-family (high-end condominiums and apartments), multi-unit (assisted living and medical facilities), hotels, restaurant, office space, and retail. He has a portfolio of projects from brands such as Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Omni, and Sheraton. He led international projects for the Disney theme parks constructing gift shops and hotel finish outs.
His residential construction experience includes a complete remodel of Elton John’s penthouse where he created an art gallery above his residential living area.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has been accepted at Purdue for fall 2019 for his Masters in Construction Technology
